The Aguilar Expression

Contributor's Guidelines

We publish poetry of up to 30 lines dealing with contemporary themes and all kinds of fiction for a general audience; up to 5 pages. We sponsor an annual poetry competition which offers a cash prize and publication.

For contest guidelines, write to Xavier F. Aguilar at the address below and include a long self-addressed-stamped-envelope. Send manuscripts to the same address and make fee for sample copies payable to Xavier F. Aguilar.

The Aguilar Expression is NOT online.

The Aguilar Expression accepts black/white drawings. Cover art receives $10 payment for purchase.

We do not return any manuscripts and discard all rejected works.

Sample copies are $8 per.

All manuscripts must be clean, black/white copy. All rights remain the contributor's.

The publisher holds no responsibility for unsolicited manuscripts.

No simultaneous submissions.

Payment is 1) contributor's byline and 2) two copies of issue contributor's work(s) appear in.
